Once again, everyone at 1st Line Defence enjoyed our annual tradition of taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

Staff in our Hoddesdon offices came to work on Thursday 8th December wearing their most festive outfits in exchange for a donation to the charity.

With a prize for the best Christmas jumper worn on the day competition was fierce with many customised creations being modelled, and enthusiasm for the event peaked when some jumpers (and necks) were spotted with twinkling fairy lights on!

After much deliberation, the judging panel selected Bernadette Menzies, our Office Manager, as the winner who accepted her prize amidst applause from the team.

The money raised will go to the Save the Children charity and will be matched by the UK Government.

Everyone enjoyed participating in the day’s activities, and more importantly, we are delighted to be able to support this worthwhile charity which helps 45 million children across the world get access to the medicine, nutrition and education they need.
