One of our primary goals to spread best practice and awareness about the risk of UXO, and to make sure that ground operatives who may come into unexpected contact with items of ordnance – are given the tools and knowledge to understand the risks involved and act safely.
We can provide various training solutions for your project, from on-site Safety & Awareness Briefings to the production of a Site Specific Safety Package (SSSP).
We have a strong belief in sharing our knowledge and also offer free of charge corporate seminars, presentations and online webinars – contact us for more information and to discuss your requirements.
We can provide all new ground personnel with a Safety & Awareness Briefing which is an essential part of any UXO Risk Mitigation Strategy.
We recommend that all personnel involved in intrusive ground work projects should attend a UXO Safety & Awareness Briefing before starting operations.
In the first instance this should be delivered by a qualified UXO Specialist, and for longer term projects where it may not be a requirement for UXO Support to be present all times, a SSSP can be commissioned to allow a contractors representative to deliver the briefings.
On completion, the UXO Specialist will provide a briefing pack in both hard copy and electronic format. The pack includes information about identifying and reporting suspicious discoveries, with pictures to assist with UXO recognition and posters which can be displayed on-site.
Make sure your ground workers are kept safe during excavations with on-site support from a highly-qualified UXO Specialist.
Get specialist UXO support and clearance for ground investigation works such as boreholes and window samples.
For certain sites, a manual 'Search & Clear' operation is the most appropriate way of mitigating risk from shallow-buried UXO on your project.
We offer a wide range of professional services and technology to assess, survey, mitigate, support and manage the risk of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO).
