2019 saw significant growth for 1st Line Defence and with so many plans and ideas for the future, we decided that our office space needed to grow together with us, and provide more room for our 45+ office staff.
An exciting opportunity arose at the beginning of 2020 to acquire an additional office space in the same business park that we currently call home.
The new premises will provide an additional 3,000m² of space to accommodate our growing Operations, Sales and HR Teams.
While our office staff have been busy working from home during the course of the pandemic, a high-spec refurbishment of our new premises has been under progress.
The layout of the building has been entirely redesigned to meet our needs, including a new communal/break area – a perfect space for staff to relax and socialise – plus two conference rooms and a private meeting space fitted.
There’s also a dedicated stores area for kit, equipment and repairs, allowing us to double our current storage space.
The building works are almost complete and we wanted to share some images of the new office before the furniture arrives, and we can’t wait to move in!
We have been fortunate enough to have acquired this additional office space at a time when social distancing in the workplace is going to be paramount.
Our teams have been working on the required measures to make both of our offices ‘Covid-Secure’, and the extra space will make this easier to achieve when it’s safe for our staff to return back to the office.
