A suspected unexploded device, which is believed to date back to WWII, was found in Birmingham last week.

Islington Row Middleway up to Bath Row was evacuated and West Midlands Police has evacuated a construction site.

An explosive ordnance disposal team was called to the scene and closed Islington Row Middleway up to Bath Row near the city centre.

It comes a year after a 250kg WWII bomb was discovered in Aston.
