1st Line Defence were commissioned to undertake a Search & Clear operations at a Ministry of Defence (MoD) site in Wiltshire.

The area was known to have been contaminated with items of Land Service Ammunition resulting from its previous use by the military. 1st Line Defence deployed eight UXO Specialists to the site for a period of several weeks to systematically search and clear the areas where future development was proposed. Live and expended Mortar and PIAT rounds were recovered and disposed of. Over 80 bags of UXO-related scrap was removed from site by 1st Line Defence at the end of the operation.
